PROJECT 3

Fashional Dysmorphia

Fashional Dysmorphia describes the juxtaposition of today’s societal body ideals; being thick but not overweight, being skinny, but still having an ass. This irony is conveyed through puffer corsets and skin-like fabrics to give the illusion of the perfect and completely opposing body.

The collection exemplifies the ability to create a three part collection in a cohesive and season-appropriate manner. Stay tuned until the end of the presentation to see one of the designs as an editorial in its finished state.
